Operational Manager Yachting   - fulltime

Eekels | TBI is looking for an Operational Manager for the business unit Yachting. The business unit Yachting is one of the largest electrical system integrators within Dutch yacht building and is active in the top segment of Dutch yacht building. As Operational Manager you are responsible for operational management of the construction and delivery of one or more projects. In this position you can be deployed at one of the locations within the greater Amsterdam region (Monnickendam/Amsterdam).

What can you expect from us?

 What is expected of you?

• Ensuring that the project is delivered under your leadership of good quality, technically correct and within the set time and costs;
• Being able to deal with complex projects, both in the field of electrical engineering and planning;
• Point of contact for our clients, our own colleagues, suppliers and subcontractors;
• Managing a team of 15 to 40 own and hired employees;
• Acting as the link between the project team and the customer, steering based on quality, progress, costs, returns and deployment of people and materials. You will work closely with the Technical Manager and the Project Manager, but also with fellow Operational Managers;
• Responsible for administrative work such as planning, work lists, checking worksheets, weekly statements, etc.;
• Monitoring compliance with the applicable safety regulations.

HDo you recognize yourself in this profile?

• Completed MBO level 4 education or bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering;
• At least 5 years of relevant experience within the maritime sector;
• Experience in a managerial position;
• Commercial attitude and communication skills;
• Proactive attitude, independent, customer-oriented and able to work well together;
• You have a good spoken and written command of Dutch and English.
