Eekels | TBI is looking for a Solution Consultant Lighting (Zaandam location) for the eXperience business unit. Marpower eXperience supplies innovative and progressive Lighting, Audio, Video, IT & Communication Systems for the luxury yacht industry. Marpower eXperience has supplied its systems to yachts from 50 meters to over 100 meters in length, making it one of the technological leaders in this industry.

The Solution Consultant has a clear vision about lighting systems and components. You are broadly oriented, but you also know how to make choices between various solutions and substantiate why these choices were made and you can convince and instruct customers, external stakeholders and internal stakeholders, project team members.b

What is expected of you?

• Provide advice on lighting systems in the sales and implementation phase based on project data and collected information and determine the chosen solutions together with the sales team;
• Working on the technical standardization of lighting solutions and maintaining standardized (detailed) designs;
• Communicate proactively about the technical designs with the assigned Lead Engineers/Project Leaders;
• Report deviations with regard to planning, costs and quality;
• Carrying out sound document management regarding your activities;
• Een autoriteit zijn op het gebied van verlichtingstechnologie, je kent verlichtingsbedieningssystemen (Lutron, Dynalight, KNX), vele soorten drivers, armaturen en verlichting strips;
• Setting up and managing innovation projects and rolling them out in the company;
• You regularly visit technology fairs to stay informed about your specialty;
• Giving lectures on lighting systems to professionals, customers and interested parties;
• You can provide training on various technical solutions to our technicians;
• In this position, you report to the Technical Manager.

Do you recognize yourself in this profile?

• Bachelor level with a relevant technical degree;
• Knowledge of audiovisual technology;
• Several years of relevant work experience in the implementation of large lighting systems;
• Able to work under pressure and taking responsibility for your work;
• Customer-oriented, you are the face of our lighting systems for the customer and our internal stakeholders;
• Good spoken and written command of Dutch and English;
• Knowledge of Audio, Video & IT systems is an advantage.
