Software Engineer Systems - 40 hours - higher vocational education

Eekels | TBI is looking for a Software Engineer Systems for the Emmen location. As Software Engineer Systems you perform programming and engineering work of automation systems in the Marine & Offshore. You are also technically responsible for various (sub) projects.

The Systems business unit develops and supplies drive systems, shore power connection systems, Marine Automation Systems and customer-specific electronics for the various market areas in which Eekels is active. The systems are marketed under the name MarPower. A platform that has been developed and managed entirely in-house.

What is expected of you?

• Technically responsible for various (sub)projects;
• Informing the team about your progress and the risks;
• Being able to realize solutions based on functional requirements and specifications;
• Carrying out programming and engineering activities of automation systems;
• Communicating with team members, clients, and suppliers;
• Contributing to the development of work budgets;
• Report (directly) to the Lead engineer and/or Projectmanager.

Do you recognize yourself in this profile?

• Completed bachelor degree in (technical) Informatics (or similar) and you preferably have 3 to 5 years of work experience in a similar position;
• Creative and adept at devising solutions;
• Knowledge of industrial or logistics automation;
• Knowledge and experience with the following techniques: C#, .NET Core, CODESYS, and industrial networks;
• Good communication skills and working collaboratively are self-evident for you;
• Proactive approach and good analytical skills;
• A good spoken and written command of Dutch and English.
