Service Technician Systems - 40 hours

Eekels | TBI is looking for a Service Technician Systems for the Kolham location. As a Service Technician Systems, you deliver new installations and products and make them ready for use for the customer. You also carry out periodic inspections and provide service to customers with defective or no longer working systems. 

The Systems business unit develops and supplies drive systems, shore power connection systems, Marine Automation Systems and customer-specific electronics for the various market areas in which Eekels is active. The systems are marketed under the name MarPower. A platform that has been developed and managed entirely in-house. Both starters and more experienced candidates can respond.

What can you expect from us?

What is expected of you?

• Deliver new installations and products and make them operational for the customer;
• Provide service and advice to customers with faulty or non-functioning systems;
• Knowledge of and affinity with automation systems from Siemens;
• Familiar with drive systems and the parameterization of these systems;
• Perform periodic inspections at customers;
• Responsible for revision and repair of products;
• Provide product-related training to service partners;
• Preparing, among other things, project activities with regard to documentation, schedules and design;
• Writing reports after each visit, for the client and for internal purposes;
• Participate in the consignment shift (six weekly cycle).

Do you recognize yourself in this profile?

• Secondary education (MBO+) or bachelor level with an electrical or automation background;
• Analytical and able to analyze and understand systems unknown to you;
• Able to work under pressure, independently and take responsibility for your work;
• Customer-oriented, you are the face of our systems at the customer;

• PLC technical hardware and software knowledge is a plus;
• Some knowledge of drive systems and motors;
• A good spoken and written command of English;
• Willing to occasionally travel (internationally).
