Service Engineer Yachting  –  40 uur

Eekels | TBI is looking for an (international) Service Engineer based in Zaandam for the business unit Yachting. The business unit Yachting is one of the largest electrical system integrators within Dutch yacht building and is active in the top segment of Dutch yacht building. Our service department carries out service and maintenance work on its own systems but also on third-party systems. We also carry out Refit projects. As an International Service Engineer you are part of the service team. You are responsible for overhauling and repairing electrical installations on board yachts and (passenger) ships.

What is expected of you?

• Responsible for the overhaul and repair of electrical installations on board yachts and (passenger) ships;
• Prepare project activities with regard to documentation, detailed plans and drawings;
• Elaborating technical specifications or changes (if necessary) or discussing this with the work planner and/or project leaders;
• Writing reports after each visit, for the client and for internal purposes;
• Willingness to regularly travel abroad (both within and outside Europe).

Do you recognize yourself in this profile?

• A completed MBO-level education in Electrical Engineering / Service & Maintenance;
• At least 3 years of work experience in a similar position in a maritime environment;
• Knowledge in the field of assembly methods and implementation, measurement and control techniques (instrumentation) and reading technical drawings;
• A real team player, but you can also work well independently;
• Good communication, commercial and organizational skills;
• A customer-oriented attitude;
• A good spoken and written command of Dutch and English.
