Service Engineer Automation  - 40 hours

Eekels | TBI is looking for a Service Engineer Automation for the business unit Systems, based in Zaandam. As a Service Engineer Automation you will be trained to provide service, resolve malfunctions and commission the Marpower Automation Systems Yachting (MASY). You will also provide service to customers with a defective or no longer working system.

The business unit Systems develops and supplies drive systems, shore power connection systems, Marine Automation Systems and customer-specific electronics for the various market areas in which Eekels is active. The systems are marketed under the name Marpower. A platform that has been developed and managed entirely in-house.

What can you expect from us?

What is expected of you?

• Providing service, troubleshooting and commissioning Marpower Automation Systems Yachting (MASY);
• Provide service and advice to customers with faulty or non-functioning systems;
• Perform periodic inspections at customers;
• Responsible for overhaul and repair of the automation systems;
• Provide product-related training to service partners;
• Preparing, among other things, project activities with regard to documentation, schedules and design;
• Writing reports after each visit, for the client and for internal purposes;

Do you recognize yourself in this profile?

• Secondary education level (MBO+) / bachelor degree level (HBO) with an electrical or automation background;
• Enthusiastic, working independently and contributing to the team;
• Able to analyze and understand systems unknown to you;
• Able to work under pressure and taking responsibility for your work;
• Customer-oriented, you are the face of our systems at the customer;
• Knowledge of and affinity with PLC, SCADA, HMI software;
• Good spoken and written command of Dutch and English.
• Prepared to travel abroad for several weeks a few times per year.
