Project Manager -32-40 hours - higher vocational education

Eekels | TBI is looking for a Project Manager for the Kolham location for the Systems Business Unit. The Systems Business Unit operates under the brand name Marpower. Marpower is a leader in power converters and automation solutions for the maritime and offshore markets. Within the Power Systems cluster, high-quality power electronics systems are developed, produced and supplied for energy storage, drives, DC distribution, grid conversion and shore power connections. These systems are fully automated by the Marpower Automation platform for, among other things, asset and energy management. As a Project Manager, you lead project teams and are responsible for one or more (international) projects, depending on their scope.

What is expected of you?

• Act as the primary point of contact for the client;
• Prepare work budgets and set task budgets for the project team;
• Prepare project forecasts and justify them to management;
• Monitor the project scope and planning, with clear communication to clients;
• Work closely with other departments within Eekels;
• Work according to procedures and guidelines for project-based operations, taking initiatives that lead to the optimization of (primary) processes and the optimal use and deployment of the (operational) system;
• Active involvement in the further development of our products and systems according to the Configure To Order (CTO) approach;
• Short-term stays abroad for project-related tasks are part of the role.

Do you recognize yourself in this profile?

• A completed relevant higher vocational education (HBO) degree
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience;
• Experience with electrical and/or mechanical engineering projects is a plus;
• Knowledge of project management methods such as Prince2 or IPMA B is a plus;
• Knowledge of contract management;
• Good knowledge of MS Project and MS Office;
• A team player capable of motivating the team and working in a results-oriented manner;
• A good spoken and written command of Dutch and English
