Eekels | TBI is looking for a lead software engineer Systems for the Emmen location. The Systems business unit develops and supplies drive systems, shore power connection systems, Marine Automation Systems and customer-specific electronics for the various market areas in which Eekels is active. The systems are marketed under the name MarPower. . As lead software engineer you are responsible for the technical implementation of the project. Together with the project leader you determine the strategy for achieving the planned project results

What is expected of youdt er van jou verwacht?

• Managing project teams consisting of engineers, developers and commissioners;
• Making the basic design and engineering crucial design parts
• You anticipate activities that deviate from the project schedule and inform the project leader about project progress during project implementation;
• You represent Eekels at the customer, you are the contact person as far as technical aspects are concerned and in this role you contribute to an excellent relationship with the customer;
• You initiate improvement proposals (product improvement, process improvement) that lead to a strengthening of the competitive position of Eekels.

Do you recognize yourself in this profile?

• HBO education (technical) Informatics or similar;
• You have several years of relevant work experience in a similar position;
• You have knowledge of and experience with automation software (e.g. PLC, SCADA, HMI);
• You have knowledge of and experience with the IEC 61131-3 standard (Structured Text, Function Block Diagram);
• You are creative and solution-oriented
• You can work well in a team setting and you have (commercially oriented) communication skills;
• You have a proactive approach and good analytical skills;
• A good command of the Dutch and English language in word and writing.
