Electrician Yachting   - 40 hours

Eekels | TBI is looking for Electricians Yachting for the locations in Amsterdam, Kaag, Makkum and Monnickendam. As an electrician you help build a specific yacht. Cables are installed and systems connected using cable lists, overview drawings and electrical diagrams. You will also participate in the commissioning of these various systems that are installed on board. You test whether everything works properly and resolve any errors. The construction time of a yacht varies, but consider 1.5 to 3 years of completion time. This has to do with the size of the yacht.

The Business Unit Yachting is one of the largest electrical system integrators within the Dutch yacht building industry and is active at various shipyards such as Royal van Lent, Koninklijke De Vries Scheepsbouw and Royal Hakvoort. As a system integrator, we are present from start to finish installing and connecting the self-designed systems. This is for the energy supply to the yacht control and all conceivable technological experiences on board.

• Working on installing and converting various electrical installations and instrumentation on board a yacht;
• Commissioning of complex electronic installations;
• Implementing technical changes (in consultation);
• Work in accordance with quality, health and safety and environmental guidelines and regulations;
• Permanent work location closest to your place of residence, placement at another location is also possible in the future.

Do you recognize yourself in this profile?

• You have a secondary school education level 3 (MBO) in Electrical Engineering or equivalent;
• Demonstrable work experience as an electrician;
• Able to read technical drawings and diagrams, we work with Autocad and E-plan;
• Able to work well in a team, but also independently;
• Working safely and healthy comes naturally for you;
• Willing to travel.
