AV Specialist - 40 hours - bachelor level

Eekels | TBI is looking for an AV Specialist (location Zaandam) for the business unit eXperience. Under the name Marpower eXperience, Eekels Technology supplies innovative and progressive Audio & Video, IT, Communication & Lighting systems for the luxury yacht industry. As an AV Specialist you are responsible for the design of the Audio and Video systems on board superyachts. You develop AV solutions in response to customer needs, trends and the company's solutions.

What is expected of you?

• In the sales and implementation phase you give advice on AV systems based on project data and collected information and you determine the chosen solutions together with the sales team;
• Working on the design of the technical standardization of AV solutions and maintaining standardized (detailed) designs;
• Communicate proactively about the technical designs with the assigned Lead Engineers/Project Leaders;
• Report deviations with regard to planning, costs and quality;
• Carrying out sound document management regarding your activities;
• You are an authority on Video and Audio technology. You know Crestron NVX, QSE, IPTV and other AV network distribution systems.
• Setting up and managing innovation projects and rolling them out in the company;
• In this position, you report to the Technical Manager.

Do you recognize yourself in this profile?

• Bachelor level with a relevant technical degree;
• Knowledge of audiovisual technology;
• Several years of relevant work experience in the AV industry;
• Able to work under pressure and taking responsibility for your work;
• Customer-oriented, you are the face of our AV systems to the customer;
• A good command of the Dutch and English language in word and writing.
