Manager Service Yachting   - fulltime

Eekels | TBI is looking for a Service Manager for the business unit Yachting. The business unit Yachting is one of the largest electrical system integrators within Dutch yacht building and is active in the top segment of Dutch yacht building.

The Service, Refit and Maintenance department of the business unit Yachting consists of 15 employees in the Netherlands and 12 employees in Spain. They fulfill the functions of project leader, (service) technician and engineer. Our service department carries out service and maintenance work on its own systems, but also on third-party systems. We also carry out refit projects. In addition to the department in the Netherlands (Zaandam), a Spanish service branch was set up a year and a half ago with an office in Barcelona and an office in Palma de Mallorca. In Spain, a local manager is responsible for the affairs there. In order to serve our customers even better, we want to further intensify cooperation between the Netherlands and Spain. The service department has been considerably professionalized recently. We want to continue this even further and thus grow the department, due to: a large range of work from the market. To achieve this, we will also work on our sales power.

To achieve the above, we are looking for a Manager Service who can strengthen the aforementioned collaboration and further expand the department, together with our enthusiastic service team. As Manager Service you are responsible for and manage the Yachting's service department.

• Leading and expanding the service department;
• Ultimately responsible for the service department, commercially, financially and operationally;
• Managing the project leaders in controlling the service activities and refit projects;
• Monitoring the realization of the budget through monthly forecasts in collaboration with the project leaders;
• Reporting to the Business Unit Manager Yachting.

Do you recognize yourself in this profile?

• Bachelor degree and knowledge of electrical engineering;
• Several years of relevant management experience preferably in shipbuilding;
• Systematic, assertive employee with strong analytical skills, who is certainly results-oriented;
• You can work well in a team setting and you have (commercially oriented) communication skills;
• You have a good spoken and written command of Dutch and English.
