Commissioning Engineer Marine & Offshore – 40 hours – vocational education

The Marine & Offshore business unit provides electrical services and systems for Marine & Offshore applications worldwide. Complete installations are designed in line with the customer’s requirements and produced for installations at Dutch shipyards. Complete installations are also sent as ready-made construction kits to the shipyards in Romania, Vietnam, India, China and various other countries. The electrical services provided to the ship construction industry consist of: consultancy, system engineering and design, delivery of customer-specific systems and/or standard systems, panel construction, installation work, commissioning and service and maintenance.

What is expected of you?

• Commissioning and testing complex electrical installations in the maritime industry;
• You keep track of revisions and perform any other additional registration tasks;
• You implement technical changes in consultation with the Project Leader or Project Manager;
• You communicate in a timely and clear manner towards the internal and external client and any inspection authorities during the purchase of systems;
• Participating in scheduled standby duties.

Do you recognize yourself in this profile?

• You have at least a completed vocational education in the direction of Electronics/Energy Technology;
• Work experience with commissioning within the maritime sector;
• You have technical insight and organizational ability;
• You are flexible, customer-oriented and have a proactive working method.
• Good communication skills and working collaboratively are self-evident for you;
• You have a good spoken and written command of Dutch and English.
