Metalworker Marine & Offshore – 40 hours – lower vocational education /intermediate vocational education

Eekels | TBI is looking for a Metalworker Marine & Offshore for the Kolham location. The Marine & Offshore business unit provides electrical services and systems for marine and offshore applications. Complete installations are custom-designed, manufactured, and installed in projects worldwide. As a metalworker, you independently handle the metalwork for electrical installations on board ships according to drawings.

WWhat can you expect from us?

What is expected of you?

• The installation of ironwork such as cable trays, conduits, pipes, and strips, and finishing them neatly and safely;
• Constructing various structures for cabinets and panels and assembling all types of equipment.
• Performing all common sheet metal operations, such as welding (electrode and Mig/mag), burning, and grinding.
• Performing simple engineering tasks focused on, among other things, routing cable trays;
• Possibly being deployed for electrical tasks such as pulling cables and installing wall outlets and light switches in accommodations and the bridge on ships;
• Adhering to safety regulations and ensuring a clean and safe working environment.

Do you recognize yourself in this profile?

• A completed lower vocational education / intermediate vocational education in metal construction or a similar field;
• Demonstrable experience as a welder/metalworker/construction worker;
• Knowledge of various welding techniques and materials;
• Affinity with electrical engineering;
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings;
• Attention to detail, works with precision, and has a high sense of quality;
• Willing to travel within (Northern) Netherlands;
• Capable of working both independently and as part of a team;
• You have a good spoken and written command of Dutch and English.
