Lead Engineer Marine & Offshore  – 40 uur –  hbo

Eekels | TBI is looking for a Lead Engineer Marine & Offshore for the Kolham location. As a Lead Engineer Marine & Offshore, you will lead a team of engineers and, depending on the size of the projects, be responsible for one or more (international) projects.

The Marine & Offshore business unit provides electrical services and systems for Marine & Offshore applications worldwide. Complete installations are designed in line with the customer’s requirements and produced for installations at Dutch shipyards. Complete installations are also sent as ready-made construction kits to the shipyards in Romania, Vietnam, India, China and various other countries. The electrical services provided to the ship construction industry consist of: consultancy, system engineering and design, delivery of customer-specific systems and/or standard systems, panel construction, installation work, commissioning and service and maintenance.

 What is expected of you?

• Leading engineers and, depending on the size of the projects, being responsible for one or more (international) projects;
• Strong technical focus, utilizing a "cost-driven" mindset to achieve project objectives;
• Drawing up schedules and leading the engineers task-oriented in the project team;
• Provide input for the project forecasts and you know how to motivate them with good substantiation towards the project leader and management;
• Monitor the project planning and ensure clear communication with the project team and our clients;
• Working according to procedures and guidelines for project-based work, you take initiatives that lead to optimization of the (design) processes;
• (Brief) international stays for project purposes may be part of the role.

Do you recognize yourself in this profile?

• A completed higher vocational education n Electrical Engineering;
• Knowledge of project management methods is an advantage;
• Good knowledge of MS Project and MS Office;
• Good spoken and written command of Dutch and English.
• At least 5 years of experience as a Lead Engineer in the industry.
