Engineer Marine & Offshore  - fulltime

Eekels | TBI is looking for an Engineer Marine & Offshore for the Kolham location. As an Engineer Marine & Offshore, you will perform drawing and engineering tasks for electrical installations based on functional design. In this role, you will report directly to the project leader or project manager.

The Marine & Offshore business unit provides electrical services and systems for Marine & Offshore applications worldwide. Complete installations are designed in line with the customer’s requirements and produced for installations at Dutch shipyards. Complete installations are also sent as ready-made construction kits to the shipyards in Romania, Vietnam, India, China and various other countries. The electrical services provided to the ship construction industry consist of: consultancy, system engineering and design, delivery of customer-specific systems and/or standard systems, panel construction, installation work, commissioning and service and maintenance.

What is expected of you?

• You perform drawing and engineering work of electrical installations from a functional set-up;
• Technical preparation of projects, documenting them, and preparing them for execution; 
• You contribute to making calculations and the preparation of work budgets;
• Provide support in the aftersales of a project;
• In this position you report directly to the Project Leader or Project Manager.

Do you recognize yourself in this profile?

• Completed higher vocational education in Electrical Engineering;
• You have several years of experience in the field of drawing and designing electrical installations within the maritime sector;
• Good communication skills and working collaboratively are self-evident for you;
• A proactive approach and good analytical skills;
• You have experience with and knowledge of EPLAN electric P8, AutoCAD and Microsoft Office;
• You have experience with a functional engineering method;
• A good spoken and written command of Dutch and English.
